You don’t need to have a gluten free diet to enjoy this place, it’s a peaceful gem. The French toast is incredibly fluffy (possibly the best you’ll will ever have) and the vegan curry is pure bliss. Treat yourself to the chocolate brownie at the end, it will leave you dreaming all day long. The highlight for me though at ChocoLatta is the kind gentle souled gentleman that works in the kitchen. He puts is heart and soul into his cooking and it shows when your meal reaches the table. We will miss this place, I’m going to miss walking through the sliding door being greeted by the gentleman in the kitchen. This is the kind of place I’ll cherish and be grateful of throughout my life, and it’s all because of the man that runs this restaurant.

A cosy cafe in a quiet neighbourhood in Osaka, serving really good french toasts and brunch. I had the french toast with caramel ice cream - didn’t notice that the bread was gluten free at all - it was as light and fluffy as ever and the caramel ice cream paired so well. Worth checking out; some wait (not too long though) needed for the food as the cafe is run by one person.

i loved eating here so much i came back the next day. incredible gluten free cafe with great coffee and veggie options. the french toast was the best i have ever had. and the folks working were incredibly kind and helpful. the space itself was very cute and calming. i loved the egg sandwich.

We bumped into this place by chance , its a small cosy place with few tables. We ordered: -the gluten free french toast with hokkaido milk ice cream , regular french toast and egg sandwiches, iced matcha latte and oce chocolate. - The egg sandwich is very yummy and light and filling(7/10) - the french toast with hokkaido milke ice cream was soooo good(9/10). -the french toast was warm, soft and fluffy! The ice cream is very light and delicious. - the regular french toast was very good as well.(8/10) - iced matcha latte (3/10) {im still learning to like matcha} - ice chocolate (6/10) the kids enjoyed it.

I went two times to ChocoLatta during my stay in Osaka. A nice and cozy cafe with very friendly staff. The gluten free sandwiches are good, but I can really recommend the gluten free French toast. It’s the best gluten free French toast I ever had! The gluten free beer is also very goody. Can wholeheartedly recommend for people with an gluten allergy.

This was our favorite cafe on our trip. The gluten free meals are all very good, though a bit small. I absolutely adored the strawberry french toast, it was probably my favorite food on our trip.

We came early on a Thursday morning. Soothing atmosphere, the food was lovingly prepared and presented. The taste was so amazing! I had egg, french toast and coffee, my husband enjoyed the BLTE sandwich and we both had gf chocolate cake dessert. The food was so fresh and tasty, salad greens were so fresh and delicious. A wonderful way to start the day. Oishi kata!

One of the best gluten-free spots in Osaka! Honestly, if I hadn’t been told it was gluten-free, I never would have guessed. A lot of gluten-free bread can feel heavy, but here it was light and easy on the stomach. We loved the cozy atmosphere of the café, and the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. For anyone with celiac disease who has ever craved a proper sando like the ones from 7/11, this is the place to go. The vegetables were a real highlight, so fresh and naturally sweet that they didn’t even need dressing. It truly felt like they had just been picked from the garden. Everything, from the drinks to the omelette, was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious.
